An Inch and A Half

What do you do when you can't stop going??

What do you do when you can't stop growing?

An whole inch and a half in three months! Is this even possible?

Oh Baby, you are turning into a little girl!

Fling Flang Flung

We flitted off to Victoria again this week, baby and I. Baby and I plus half. Flying with a 19month old, being 7 months pregnant, is not an easy task. Once we got to Victoria though, mayhem really set it. Busy is putting it mildly. Then on Sunday morning, a suprise visitor showed up at my parent's house - my lovely husband!! Talk about instant grin. We weren't expecting him this trip! Here are a few things our week involved:

Two weddings, one of which I was a bridesmaid.

A wedding rehersal, rehersal dinner.

Set up of the reception hall for the wedding.

Wedding favour wrapping, bachelorette party shopping.

Bachelorette Party. This is not what you think it is when you're 32 weeks pregnant.

Spending 8 hours wedding dress shopping with my newly engaged sister.

Visiting as many friends as I could humanly fit in that week, missing the ones I didn't get to see.

Going to the farm in Duncan.

Going to Nanoose Bay Camp to visit David's family.

Going to the lake.

Going to the beach.

Going for coffee.

Spending the late morning in Downtown Victoria, going on a Harbour Ferry ride, visiting Fisherman's Wharf (see pictures below).

And So So So Much More!

On the boat, waiting on the dock for the boat.

One of the many dresses, beautiful, but not 'the one!'

Glass beach.

Utter exhaustion. In the best possible way!

Airplanes or Sailboats

I guess I have never posted that we're having a boy! Which brings me to airplanes, or sailboats?

A Bird in the Hand

Our fun this week including finding a newly independent baby robin, who thought Amaris was just as interesting as she found him. He hopped towards her and then took a seat and Amaris tried to feed him grass and rocks. He tried to eat them. So I stopped her.

In other news, our landlord, Ben, came out from Calgary this week and the guys all tore off the rotting deck, that's what happens when you build a deck out of particle board and felt carpet. Oh yes, classy construction. That and the boards were just thrown on top of the OLD rotting deck, they didn't even bother taking the garbage or toys out from underneath, built the 'deck' right over top! Amazing. Anyways, Amaris thought she was a pretty big help with her little hammer. And she fell in love with the chainsaw. I had to take her away because she wouldn't stop freaking out for 'More more voom voom'.

Pulling up the carpet!

Ben gave us tickets to our very first Roughriders game, a Saskatchewan must. We are now officially SK residents. It was around 32 degrees, and we sat in the sun for over three hours. I don't think I can even describe how hot it felt, I was drenched in sweat (attractive I know). Amaris sat for the whole three hours, we were literally jaw dropped at how much she enjoyed herself!! She was so into the mascot, which she thought was a bear, we heard about the bear when we got home, and are still hearing about the bear constantly today!
Every, EVERY person is wearing green of some sort, it's insane. I've never seen so many hardcore sports fans in my life. I felt extremely inadequate.
